Internet issues
- The analysis device is not connecting to the internet.
- Check whether the network equipment connected to the analysis device (router, VPN device, etc.) has lost power.
- Check whether the other computers and devices connected to the network equipment can reach the internet normally.
When the other computers and devices also have no internet
- If the other devices connected to the network equipment also have no internet, the internet provider needs to take action.
When the other computers and devices reach the internet normally
- Only the analysis device is failing to connect to the internet.
- If the LAN port of the analysis device connected to the LAN cable, or the USB wired LAN adapter, shows no light, disconnect the LAN cable and the USB wired LAN adapter, then reconnect them.
- Even after reconnecting the LAN cables, fully disconnect the analysis device’s power cable and reconnect it.
- If the internet connection problem continues after the analysis device reboots, please contact the Deeping Source technical team.
For advanced users
- Check the power on the network equipment and the internet connection status of the other devices around it.
- If the network equipment has power, then either the analysis device is not properly connected to the network equipment or its outbound access is blocked. A cabling inspection and a check of the network equipment’s network settings are needed.
- The router may occasionally stop functioning. Depending on the situation, disconnect the router’s power and reconnect it.
- The LAN cable or the USB wired LAN adapter may need to be replaced.
